About the Program
Reflexology is a bodywork technique based on the theory that there are specific reflex points located in the feet and hands that correlate to specific organ/body systems.  When a Reflexologist applies gentle pressure to these specific areas,  one can create balance and homeostasis in the body. The results vary with the individual client yet can present as relaxation, increased energy, better sleep and decrease in pain, and other symptomatology.
Certification  will include:
Overview of the history of Reflexology
Basic theories and techniques of Reflexology
Relaxation techniques specific reflex points
Practical applications and indications
A brief review of anatomy and physiology with emphasis on specific body system applications
Scope of practice
Infection prevention processes for Reflexology practice
This training is supported by American Reflexology Certification Board (ARCB) for Exam Education and /or Renewal of Certification.
REF 101 Clinical Reflexology Module

REF 102 Clinical Reflexology Module

In this course, students will train in a clinical setting as holistic health professionals. Students will review patient charts, assess the patient from a Reflexology perspective and perform a full Reflexology session. Healthcare documentation and peer review will be included.

Additional Certification Requirements – Core Courses:
To complete any certification, all three core classes must be successfully taken and completed. To view the core courses, click 'Core Courses' in the menu.Â
These courses only have to be successfully completed one time and will then apply to any certification the student completes. Student will not be certified until all three core course and certification courses are successfully completed with an 80% or above
Note: Licensed Health Professionals and/or Successful College Completion of equivalent courses allows for an exemption of BIO and PSY.
Core courses only need to be taken once and then can be applied to all other IHL Certifications for up to a 3 year period.
